Bank Worker Hostage ‘Forced To Steal 7 Million euro

A six-year-old boy was among those taken hostage last night after the gang forced their way into the man’s home in the rural Badger Hill area of Co Kildare, 15 miles south-west of Dublin.

The six-strong raiders then forced the employee to drive into the College Green branch at dawn, take bags of cash from the vaults and dump them at a drop-off point.

The man, aged in his late 20s, was then let go unharmed.
