The Euro is our Currency

The euro EUR) is the official currency of the (EU), used in 15 member states, known collectively as the Eurozone. It is also used in 9 other countries around the world, 7 of those being in Europe. Hence it is the single currency for over 320 million Europeans.

With more than €610 Billion in circulation as of December 2006 (equivalent to US$802 billion at the exchange rates at the time), the euro is the currency with the highest combined value of cash in circulation in the world, having surpassed the US Dollar

While all (EU) member states are eligible to join, not all EU members have chosen to adopt the currency.

    Hi greetings from USA, i have currency question, can i still use the irish pound in pubs, also is it true that all the pubs have irish music, i love to go to ireland soon, the warm irish smile and the guinness hehehe i bet you have a guinness a night i hear its what irish people drink to get their strength!!
